Ken Furlough
Ken was one of the early mentors in the CHAMPS program in 2013 and 2015. At the time he was a recent graduate of Georgetown University with a dream of becoming a doctor. He took and long and hard road to make that dream a reality and this spring graduated from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. We salute DR. KENNETH FURLOUGH, ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON!!! He is an inspiration to us all!
Darrion Baxter
This text is serving as a temporary placeholder. I need to get a more detailed description of Darrion’s graduation & career plans. Darrion recently graduated from Governor’s State University and is beginning a program with Nascar to do something with racecars. Darrion was a member of CHAMPS throughout high school and was recognized by the Dwayne Wade Spotlight On program during his senior year at the halftime of a Chicago Bulls game.
